Ah! very puzzling. I'm thinking this pic was taken from Pont Alexandre iii - maybe you were squatting down with you camera lens focusing through one of those embellished sea-creature sculptures with Le Tour Eiffel in the far distance. Love the overall effect.
You're on the right track Dianne. I was indeed squatting down, but I was in the cafeteria of the Museum of Architecture and Monuments (in the East wing of the Palais de Chaillot).
